Measure for Measure

The Connor Brothers

Measure for Measure is a striking limited edition by The Connor Brothers, reimagining book cover art through their distinctive blend of literary references and contemporary graphic art. Measuring 20 x 30", this silkscreen on archival paper features a stylised wine glass above the title of Shakespeare’s play, accompanied by the subtitle ‘A Guide to Drinking Games’. Radiating stripes and bold geometric shapes in rich burgundy, emerald green, teal and burnt orange create a striking, retro-inspired composition. Balancing cultural reference with a playful sense of humour, the artwork offers a witty take on the relationship between literature and leisure. Released as a limited edition of 75, it brings colour, character and contemporary sophistication to any interior.
