Collection: Nuala Mulligan

Utilizing her passion for photography and the dynamic between the lens and its subject, Nuala Mulligan crafts striking screen prints showcasing powerful, stunning women. While pursuing a degree in Fine Art Mixed Media at the University of Westminster, she was intrigued by the various techniques for enhancing an image through material manipulation. Using her preferred method of screen printing, she reveals, "it's about revealing what is concealed in darkness and accentuating it in light. Layering colours on top of each other to accentuate beauty, and carefully selecting complementary shades for multiple images."

In her debut UK collection, she incorporates vibrant hues and a diamond dust embellishment to present recognizable female figures in a daring perspective. The viewer's reaction holds great significance to her and she believes that art should serve as a means for open dialogue among us.
