Nigel Cooke hails from Mirfield, Yorkshire, with a deep-rooted passion for art. After finishing school, he embarked on a journey with the Merchant Navy and took on various roles before committing to a career as a full-time artist.
During his extensive travels as a caricature artist, Nigel began to shift his focus towards illustrating other themes through his unique perspective. Reflecting on the numerous locations he explored and worked in, he started creating cityscapes, which transformed his illustrative technique into a refined form of art. His distinctive, energetic, and recognizable style produces beautifully textured images filled with detailed layers.
As of now, Nigel has successfully sold his artworks globally, with particularly noteworthy sales in the UK, the USA, and the Far East. After years of refining his drippy technique, he has emerged as one of the most sought-after artists in the UK.
