Originally hailing from the East Midlands, I grew up in a family deeply rooted in the arts. My journey began early, as I discovered my love for dance, relishing the joy that comes with each movement and expression. The serene countryside that surrounded me nurtured a profound appreciation for nature and its tranquil beauty, which inspired my artistic explorations.
Though my path as an artist took time to unfold, the dawn of the new millennium marked a turning point. After finishing my studies, I eagerly joined an art foundation course in Nottingham to tap into my creative potential. Alongside this, I pursued a secretarial course to keep my options versatile. The vibrant energy of London called to me, and for the next ten years, I juggled my artistic endeavors with part-time work in the city. This period was a whirlwind of exciting adventures, world travels, and the joyful experience of motherhood.
In 2003, I transitioned to Sussex, where I found my creative haven. With my own studio, I finally had the freedom to establish myself as an artist. As time went on, I thoughtfully built my profile, exhibiting and selling my work in galleries across the UK and around the globe.
