Ewa Czarniecka
Ewa Czarniecka, an artist hailing from a small village in South-Eastern Poland called Krasiczyn, found inspiration early in her life from the works of Bronislaw Linke. She first encountered his art at the age of 13, and it moved her so profoundly that she began to replicate his style in an attempt to capture the emotions it evoked in her.
For many years, Ewa expressed herself through writing, dedicating countless hours each day to her journal. Upon returning to painting in adulthood, she experienced newfound clarity and found that she could convey her thoughts with greater precision. Painting became her means of sharing the intricate details she noticed in her surroundings, such as the shimmering light, dappled shadows, or patterns invisible to the camera lens.
Blending elements of Abstract and Impressionism, Ewa's artwork hints at various shapes and figures while portraying light and reflections through fluid brush strokes. Her pieces often feature rich textures with vibrant colors and exhibit remarkable depth.
Ewa finds joy in exploring the creative aspects of perception. Rather than depicting exact realities, she aims to capture the essence of each moment, resulting in a profoundly liberating and emotional journey for her.
