Here Comes The Sun

"Sunflowers always remind me of my grandparents who had them in their garden and surrounding their allotment. When I am out and about and I see a large sunflower it reminds me to enjoy the day, enjoy the summer. A quirky coincidence occurred when I was halfway through this artwork: I had a large amount of weeding to do and was feeling daunted by the task, and then there, randomly growing in the middle of the weeds was a single sunflower. It reminded me of my grandpa’s allotment which needed constant work and gave me the incentive to crack on with the job! A single sunflower provided inspiration just when I needed it, as the sun brings a smile to us all! "
