Born in 1947 in Livorno, Bruno Tinucci is described as 'the artistic voice of Tuscany.' Tinucci began to develop his skills in 1969 when a piece painted by a patient of a local hospital where he worked, struck him in awe. He began to study the most famous painters in Livorno, studying their works in turn and attempting to outline his own identity.
Fifty years passed and Tinucci achieved a strong artistic maturity, exhibiting since 1972 and selling out completely in Florence and Milan, Tinucci currently has more than 25 permanent exhibitions in Italy but his
paintings have been bought and distributed by public and private collectors alike throughout the world.
The works of Tinucci pay dear respects to his predecessors, often mirroring various qualities of their styles. However, his use of colour and implied form is unique to himself. The brightness of the paint gives his pieces a sense of nostalgia, of summer days and clear blue skies and ultimately,
a powerful finished work with new style meeting old roots.
